Jordan's Story

Jordan as Toddler.jpg

Jordan was a beautiful little boy with the brightest blue eyes and the softest golden curls. He had an angelic, cherub-like face and the sweetest smile that melted hearts wherever he went.

He was the easiest, happiest baby, content, gentle and full of joy. Everywhere we went, people would stop to admire him, drawn to his infectious smile and beautiful nature.

From the very beginning, Jordan brought light into the lives of everyone who met him, and that light continues to shine through his legacy today

As Jordan waited to be admitted for another hospital stay, he had already endured a long afternoon of PD-1 immunotherapy alongside countless microdot injections.

The treatment was relentless, leaving him in excruciating pain and often feeling as though it was almost unbearable. Yet despite the physical suffering,

Jordan faced every challenge with extraordinary courage. He rarely complained, choosing instead to focus on hope, determined to keep fighting with the same quiet strength and resilience that inspired everyone around him.

This photograph captures Jordan in his hospital bed at University College Hospital, waiting to hear his treatment plan.

As his family, we could only imagine the fear and anxiety he must have been feeling. He had already endured unimaginable pain, yet he faced every appointment, every procedure and every setback with remarkable courage and selflessness.

Even during his darkest moments, Jordan rarely thought of himself. He met each day with quiet strength, determination and dignity, inspiring everyone around him. His resilience in the face of such uncertainty was extraordinary, and his bravery continues to be an inspiration to all who hear his story.

After a 5½-hour operation, Jordan was taken to the Intensive Care Unit. He had a scar stretching from beneath his chest across his abdomen, held together with surgical clips—a visible reminder of the battle he had just faced.

Yet despite everything he had endured, his courage, resilience and determination amazed everyone around him. The medical team could hardly believe the speed of his recovery.

On his very first day back on the ward, Jordan’s thoughts were not of himself, but of others. He surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a handwritten note that simply read, “Thank you for being my angel.”

Even after major surgery, his kind heart shone through. Jordan always put others before himself, and that extraordinary compassion became one of the defining qualities of his life.

Jordan was the baby of the family, adored by his big brothers, Oliver and Max. They shared an unbreakable bond, filled with laughter, love and countless treasured memories. Jordan brought light, fun and happiness into their lives, and his brothers were fiercely protective of him.
When Jordan died, a light went out in their world. His absence is felt every single day—in their darkest moments and in their happiest ones.

They carry him with them always, wishing he were still here to share life’s milestones, celebrations and everyday moments. Though he is no longer by their side, Jordan will forever remain their little brother, loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
